Job summary

Airbus Operations Limited is seeking an Export Control Compliance Manager to develop and implement export control compliance across UK jurisdictions, notably UK, EU and US regulations. You will lead training, manage licences, and engage with government bodies to strengthen Airbus's control environment.

The role requires strong attention to detail, collaboration, and the ability to drive improvements in a dynamic, multinational setting within a leading aerospace company.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a multinational environment advising on international trade, sanctions and export control matters.
• Strong knowledge of UK (preferably aerospace) industrial export environment - UK, EU, US export control.
• Knowledge of French and/or German export controls would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Request, manage, and ensure strict compliance for all export licences, agreements, and exceptions under UK, EU, and US regulations.
• Represent Airbus with government agencies (e.g., ECJU) and working groups to drive a consistent approach to compliance.
• Oversee audits and assist subsidiaries with export control obligations.
• Advise internal teams and suppliers on export control matters and secure appropriate authorizations.
• Deliver targeted export control training across the UK and raise awareness of risks.
• Improve departmental processes and deploy automation in line with regulatory requirements.
