Job Opportunity: Export Clerk – Pharmaceuticals

First Call Talent Solutions is recruiting for an office-based Export Clerk – Pharmaceuticals to join a global logistics company.

Salary and Working Hours

Salary: Up to £35,000 dependent on experience (negotiable)

Hours and Working Days: Monday to Friday, 9am-5:30pm

Holidays: 22 days holiday plus bank holidays (total 30 days)

London Heathrow, Hounslow

Role Overview

You will work alongside the Team Leader, delivering first-class service to customers with in-depth knowledge of freight forwarding and logistics for the safe and correct handling of pharmaceutical goods.

Key Duties

• Process requests according to guidelines and internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
• Follow all customer instructions accurately
• Create accurate shipment files using the company's in-house forwarding systems
• Adhere to Good Distribution Practice (GDP)
• Discuss packaging solutions with customers
• Ensure costs and sales are correctly entered for each shipment
• Highlight any loss-making files to Team Leaders
• Communicate effectively with suppliers and carriers

Candidate Requirements

• Experience in freight forwarding
• Experience in pharmaceutical and/or perishable goods
• Ability to work in accordance with GDP and SOP at all times
• Organized and flexible
• Reliable transportation to London Heathrow, Hounslow
