Job summary

The Financial Times is hiring an Experimentation Analyst to join the Experimentation team within Insight & Analytics. You will analyze tests, share insights, and support teams running experiments across the business, with a focus on robust reporting and knowledge sharing.

The role requires strong SQL and statistical skills and comfort working with diverse data sets and stakeholders. We operate a hybrid model with onsite requirements around 50% of the time.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Analyst experience.
• Advanced SQL skills.
• Experience with A/B testing / Experimentation.
• Strong statistical background.
• Enjoy working with stakeholders.
• Ability to design tests with commercial imperatives in mind.

Responsibilities

• Provide test analysis and support to stakeholders across the business.
• Support embedded analysts in conducting tests on the ground.
• Be the primary contact for testing BAU questions.
• Assist teams with pre-test metric evaluations, post-test analyses, and stakeholder communications.
• Help establish best practices and consistency in experiment reporting.
• Advocate for an experimentation culture and align with FT goals and L&D.
• Help track multiple work streams and tests.
• Contribute ideas to the quarterly Experimentation newsletter.
