Job summary

The Light in Huddersfield seeks an Events Coordinator to drive bookings from enquiry to planning, and to deliver memorable events that wow guests. You’ll plan timelines, coordinate with operations, and manage payments to ensure seamless experiences.

• Experienced in event planning or a related field.
• Thrives in fast-paced environment.
• Creative and passionate about designing extraordinary experiences.
• Organizational Champion who can manage all moving parts and juggle multiple projects.
• Flexible to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Be the point of contact for bookings from enquiry to planning completion.
• Plan and execute events that leave lasting impression.
• Manage invoices, deposits and payments with management, sales and finance teams.
• Develop detailed event plans, timelines and schedules.
• Oversee timely delivery of goods and services.
• Coordinate with event and operations teams for setup, staffing and support.
• Drive customer outreach and diverse sales techniques to maximize results.
• Assist Head of Sales during site visits to showcase venue potential.
• Create a 30/60/90-day event program aligned with seasonal trends and site objectives.
