Job summary

Foundation Recruitment seeks an experienced Events & Community Engagement Manager to own the occupier experience at a major Berkshire destination. You will design and deliver a programme of events and community initiatives across wellbeing, volunteering and education, partnering with occupiers, visitors and local groups.

You'll build strong relationships, manage budgets, and lead supplier coordination to deliver memorable, inclusive experiences year-round.

Qualifications

• Experience planning and delivering a varied programme of events.
• Strong supplier, agency and budget management experience.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• The ability to engage confidently with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Experience or an understanding of marketing, digital engagement and brand management.
• A creative approach and the confidence to bring new ideas to the table.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
• A hands-on approach - involved from idea to delivery.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver an engaging programme of events and community activity throughout the year.
• Create and deliver a calendar of events, activations and community initiatives.
• Work with property and placemaking teams to develop engagement plans and budgets.
• Build relationships with occupiers and encourage participation across events.
• Organise activities around wellbeing, volunteering, charities, education and local community.
• Develop memorable larger-scale events that create a sense of community.
• Manage suppliers, agencies, and all event logistics from planning through to delivery.
• Ensure events are delivered safely, professionally, on time and within budget.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners for smooth delivery.
