Experienced Vehicle Technician - Andover

We’re currently investing for growth to accommodate demand and increasing both workshop space and technical capability in our Andover Service Centre. We are therefore seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join the team to support this expansion.
Experienced Vehicle Technician – Andover, Hampshire

Our Andover Service Centre offers vehicle repair & technical support to both private customers using our Service Centre, as well as our Commercial Fleet Customers.

We’re currently investing for growth to accommodate demand and increasing both workshop space and technical capability. We are therefore seeking a Level 3 qualified vehicle technician to join the team to support this expansion.

The role offers excellent opportunities for personal growth through training and development with recognised industry partners.

Responsibilities include:
  • Carrying out vehicle servicing and repairs to all makes and models of light vehicles & LCV (home shopping vehicles)
  • Conducting MOT testing – qualification required (training offered if not already qualified)
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction in the service and repair of vehicles – both private and commercial
  • Applying technical knowledge and skills in service, repair, fault finding & diagnostics
  • Identifying & reporting vehicle faults and servicing requirements during work
  • Reviewing all work thoroughly and signing off by QC
  • Adhering to all Health & Safety policies, maintaining tools and materials properly
  • Keeping the work area clean and tidy
Requirements:

You must be a Level 3 qualified Vehicle Technician (body/electrical/mechanical) with demonstrated knowledge and practical skills.

Ideally, you are already a qualified MOT tester (training available if needed).

Enthusiasm, self-motivation, and a positive attitude are essential, along with the ability to manage a varying workload.

Professional workmanship with problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and efficiently.

Strong team player and a role model for Apprentices.

Salary: Subject to experience, with additional bonus based on quality and productivity.
