Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Location: Great Yarmouth

Working Hours: 8:30am – 17:30pm, Monday to Friday, with an hour for lunch (overtime available)

Role Responsibilities – Experienced Vehicle Mechanic/Technician

• Undertaking the repair, servicing and preparation of motor vehicles, including used cars and customer vehicles
• Detecting and diagnosing any additional faults for further repair, ensuring all work is completed to the customer’s satisfaction
• Maintaining accurate, detailed records of work undertaken
• Liaising with customers directly to communicate detailed, technical information in such a way that the customer understands
• Maintaining a clean work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety

Person Specification:Experienced Vehicle Mechanic/Technician

• A background in mechanics/as a Vehicle Technician
• Previous experience carrying out servicing, maintenance, repairs and diagnostic work
• A strong team player
• Previous MOT Testing experience would be preferred but not essential
• Main Dealer experience would be preferred but is not essential as Manufacturer’s and in house training will be provided
• Excellent fault finding and problem-solving skills
• A flexible approach to work and able to work efficiently under pressure
