Job summary

Gates of Stevenage Transit Centre is seeking an Experienced Transit Centre Sales Specialist / Business Development Executive to join our sales team. You will demonstrate model features and technology to customers and maintain contact with them through each step of the vehicle purchase, from initial enquiry to follow-up.

The role requires sales experience (automotive or non-automotive), a professional appearance, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Sales experience is essential; non-automotive sales considered.
• Professional appearance and demeanour.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• IT literate with CDK Autoline experience preferred but not essential.
• Good organisational skills.
• Outstanding customer handling skills.
• A full UK driving licence is essential.

Job description

We are currently seeking an Experienced Transit Centre Sales Specialist / Business Development Executive to join the sales team at Gates of Stevenage Transit Centre.

Key Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate model features and technology to customers.
• Maintain contact with the customer through each step of the vehicle purchase from initial enquiry, to follow up.
• Provide timely response and follow up on enquiries in person, by phone, and e-mail.
• Undertake all possible effort to achieve and exceed sales targets.
• Assist with the implementation of dealership events.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of products and technologies.
• Identify and develop opportunities to increase dealership awareness and interest in the brand.
• Ability to generate a customer portfolio outside of existing data base.

Minimum Requirements:

• Sales experience essential, non-Automotive sales experience also considered.
• A professional appearance and demeanour.
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

• A full UK driving licence is essential.

Working Hours: 41.5 hrs per week (Monday - Saturday, 1 in 2 Saturdays off, plus an additional day off every 4 weeks).

Salary: OTE £40k+ (Un-capped commission structure).
