Teaching Personnel is seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and dynamic primary school in Clapham. The successful candidate will support classroom teachers in delivering high-quality education, working closely with children to enhance their learning and development.
Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils, including those with SEN (e.g., ASD, ADHD).
Assist with classroom management, resource preparation, and delivering tailored interventions.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Support the teacher in assessing pupil progress and providing feedback.
Help with administrative tasks as needed.
Experience: This can be a challenging school, therefore experience working with students is highly desirable.
Skills: Strong communication, patience, and adaptability. SEN experience is desirable.
Qualifications: Relevant TA qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3, NVQ) are advantageous but not essential.
Attitude: Proactive, compassionate, and committed to child development.
