Teaching Personnelis seeking a dedicated and resilientTeaching Assistantto join a dynamic school inClaphamthat supports students withchallenging behaviour. This is a full-time role, ideal for someone passionate about making a difference in young people's lives.
Provide1:1 and small group supportto students with social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties (SEBD).
Assist inclassroom management, ensuring a positive and structured learning environment.
Work closely with teachers, SENCO, and pastoral teams to implementbehavioural strategies.
Help students engage with learning and developsocial and emotional skills.
Monitor progress and provide feedback to staff and parents.
Experienceworking withchallenging behaviour, SEMH, or SEN (desirable but not essential).
Strongbehaviour management skillsand resilience in high-pressure situations.
Apatient, empathetic, and proactive approach.
Team Teach training(advantageous but not essential – training can be provided).
Enhanced DBS.
Supportive school environmentwith excellent CPD opportunities.
