Job Title: Full-Time Teaching Assistant – Challenging Behaviour
Location: Clapham, London
Salary: Competitive, based on experience
Start Date: ASAP
Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and resilient Teaching Assistant to join a dynamic school in Clapham that supports students with challenging behaviour. This is a full-time role, ideal for someone passionate about making a difference in young people's lives.
Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties (SEBD).
Assist in classroom management, ensuring a positive and structured learning environment.
Work closely with teachers, SENCO, and pastoral teams to implement behavioural strategies.
Help students engage with learning and develop social and emotional skills.
Monitor progress and provide feedback to staff and parents.
Experience working with challenging behaviour, SEMH, or SEN (desirable but not essential).
Strong behaviour management skills and resilience in high-pressure situations.
A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach.
Team Teach training (advantageous but not essential – training can be provided).
Enhanced DBS.
Supportive school environment with excellent CPD opportunities.
Dedicated consultant for ongoing support.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
