Job summary

Dollar Academy seeks to appoint suitably qualified and experienced Supply Teachers to provide temporary cover throughout the academic year for classes within our Prep and Junior Schools.

The Prep and Junior Schools educate around 350 pupils, with a curriculum spanning Art, Music, PE, Home Economics, Technology and Modern Languages, preparing pupils for Senior School. PVG checks are required and applications close 23 October 2026.

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher with appropriate certification.
• Experience in primary education preferred.
• PVG membership certificate from Disclosure Scotland required.

Responsibilities

• Provide temporary cover throughout the academic year for Prep and Junior classes.
• Maintain high standards of pupil welfare, behaviour and learning in the classroom.
