BCP Council is hiring Social Workers (Level 2 & 3) for the Child Health and Disability (CHAD) Team in Bournemouth, Dorset. The role is full-time and permanent, with some office-based time required across the week.

The team collaborates with health and SEND, handling assessments, children in need, child protection plans, and court work. We seek experienced social workers with a background in working with children with disabilities, neurodivergence awareness, and deprivation of liberty

Qualifications

• Significant experience in social work.
• Ability to manage complex referrals and casework.
• Strong analytical, decision-making, and conflict resolution skills.
• Experience mentoring less experienced staff or students.
• Commitment to continuous professional development.
• Willingness to undertake Practice Education training if not already qualified.
