Job summary

BCP Council is seeking experienced Social Workers (Level 2 & 3) for the Assessment Teams in Dorset, including Bournemouth, Christchurch & Poole. Competitive salary bands (£45,529–£49,817) with benefits and a relocation scheme are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in frontline safeguarding social work.
• Ability to manage complex referrals and casework.
• Willingness to undertake Practice Education training if not already qualified.

Responsibilities

• Undertake initial single assessments within statutory timescales.
• Develop and implement care plans for children and families.
• Coordinate family network meetings and liaise with partners.
