About The Role:

Are you an experienced Children with Disabilities Social Worker looking for your next opportunity? We are currently recruiting for a Social Worker to join BCP Council in Bournemouth, supporting children and young people with disabilities and their families.

As a Children with Disabilities Social Worker, you will work directly with children, young people and their families to assess needs, coordinate appropriate support and safeguard vulnerable children.

Key Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing a caseload of children and young people with disabilities.
• Undertaking assessments and developing effective care and support plans.
• Working collaboratively with families, schools, health professionals and other agencies.
• Ensuring children and young people are safeguarded and their voices are heard.
• Supporting children and families through complex and challenging circumstances.
• Reviewing plans and services to ensure they continue to meet individual needs.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in line with statutory requirements.
• Contributing to multi-agency meetings and child protection processes where required.
• Promoting positive outcomes, independence and the wellbeing of children and young people.
