Job summary

LinsCare in Rhondda Cynon Taf, Wales, is seeking an Experienced Social Worker to manage a defined caseload, carry out assessments, and develop care and support plans. You will work with individuals and families, applying best practice and relevant Welsh legislation to promote independence and positive outcomes.

The role offers agile/hybrid working and a temporary contract until 31 March 2027, with a pay rate of £30.84 per hour (umbrella) and a supportive management structure within the Rhondda

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' post-qualifying Social Work experience.
• Current registration with Social Care Wales is required.
• Strong assessment and care-planning skills are essential.
• Knowledge of Welsh social care legislation is important.
• Experience managing a caseload and working with partner agencies is expected.

Responsibilities

• Manage a defined caseload and undertake high-quality assessments.
• Develop care and support plans and manage risk.
• Apply Social Services and Well-being (Wales) Act and safeguarding procedures.
• Collaborate with health, social care and partner agencies.
• Maintain accurate case records and participate in reviews.
