Job summary

Structivus Ltd, a specialist contractor in façades, is seeking a highly motivated Quantity Surveyor to join its Liverpool-based commercial team. You will manage the commercial performance of multiple projects from pre-construction through to final accounts, liaising with clients, designers and site teams.

Qualifications

• Experience as Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
• Strong cost management, budgeting, forecasting and reporting.
• Experience preparing and reviewing BoQs, valuations and measurements.
• Understanding of standard contracts and commercial procedures.
• Excellent numeracy, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the commercial performance of multiple projects from pre-construction through to final account.
• Monitor project costs, budgets, cash flow, and profitability.
• Prepare measurements, valuations, and Bills of Quantities (BoQs).
• Review and negotiate subcontractor and supplier quotations.
• Prepare and submit applications for payment.
• Assess and manage variations, compensation events, and contractual entitlements.
• Produce accurate cost reports, forecasts, and commercial updates.
• Administer subcontractor accounts and recommend payments.
• Support contract reviews, commercial risk management, and project procurement.
• Liaise with clients, project managers, designers, suppliers, and site teams.
• Assist in agreeing and closing project final accounts.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of commercial processes and procedures.
