Job summary

Pearson Whiffin Recruitment Ltd is partnering with a specialist engineering and maintenance business to recruit a Pump Engineer in Maidstone and surrounding areas. You will service, maintain and repair pumping equipment across customer sites, with a focus on wastewater and surface water systems.

The role offers a £50,000+ OTE, full-time permanent employment, ongoing training and development, and the chance to join an experienced field-based team.

Qualifications

• Experience with pumps, pumping equipment or related mechanical/electrical systems.
• Previous pump engineering or maintenance experience.
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rota and travel locally.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair pumping equipment at customer sites.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in pumps.
• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance.
• Work independently across client locations.
• Ensure work is performed safely and to a high standard.
