Experienced Production Operative - Temp to Perm

The Recruitment Co is looking for experienced Food Production Operatives in Whitefield, Bury. These roles are temporary to permanent, so candidates will secure a permanent position subject to passing their probation period. We seek candidates with strong manufacturing experience, preferably in the food production sector.

Working in the process department, shifts are rotating days and nights: 6am-6pm/6pm-6am, 7am-7pm/7pm-7am, and 8am-8pm/8pm-8am, Monday to Thursday. Candidates must be able to work day and night shifts on a weekly rotational basis. The hourly rate is £13.36.

What you'll actually do:

• Work with team members to ensure performance meets the production plan.
• Monitor quality in your designated area.
• Maintain performance by adhering to plant setup, technical specifications, and quality assurance processes.
• Support skilled operators and FLMs in setting up the plant and during product changeovers.
• Maintain good hygiene and housekeeping practices, including 'clean as you go.'
• Follow food safety policies during handling, preparation, and storage of ingredients and finished goods.
• Adopt good Health and Safety practices at all times.
• Participate in training and development initiatives.
