Job summary

Teach is seeking an experienced Primary Teacher for a Swaffham based role starting January 2027. The post covers curriculum time across Reception, Year 1, Year 2 and Year 6 for two days per week, with UPS level preference and QTS essential.

You will adapt lessons across year groups, deliver phonics in EYFS/KS1 and support Year 6 pupils with reading fluency, while maintaining high teaching standards and positive behaviour across the school.

Qualifications

• UK‑recognised Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) required.
• Experience delivering phonics in EYFS/KS1.
• Ability to teach across EYFS to KS2 and adapt resources.
• Available January 2027 for two days per week.

Responsibilities

• Deliver curriculum lessons across Reception to Year 6.
• Provide phonics teaching in Early Years and KS1.
• Support Year 6 reading fluency with catch‑up interventions.
• Adapt teaching methods for diverse ages and needs.
• Assess understanding and identify gaps.
• Maintain positive behaviour and learning environment.
• Build relationships with pupils and staff.
• Ensure continuity of learning across year groups.
