Job summary

Veritas Education Recruitment Ltd is seeking experienced Teaching Assistants and classroom support staff for primary schools in and around the LS25 area, Leeds. We are offering full-time and flexible opportunities to join a supportive education network.

Ideal candidates will have experience across EYFS, KS1 or KS2, and be able to work with class teachers to deliver 1:1 and small-group interventions. DBS checks and right-to-work in the UK are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in primary education (EYFS/KS1/KS2) and ability to support across year groups.
• Ability to deliver 1:1 and small-group interventions
• Experience supporting pupils with SEN and learning needs
• Promote positive behaviour and engagement in the classroom
• Reliable and committed to supporting schools and pupils

Responsibilities

• Support pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 in the classroom
• Work alongside the class teacher to deliver lessons and activities
• Deliver 1:1 and small-group interventions to targeted pupils
• Support pupils with SEN and additional learning needs
• Promote positive behaviour and engagement throughout the day
• Provide general classroom support as required
