Veritas Education is recruiting Ad-Hoc Primary School Support staff for placements across Harrogate. You will work with primary students, assisting teachers, supervising breaks, and supporting learners with diverse needs.

The role offers flexible full-time or part-time hours on an ad-hoc basis. Ideal candidates are passionate about education, adaptable to different school environments, and comfortable undergoing enhanced safeguarding checks.

Qualifications

• Passion for working with children and education.
• Experience preferred but not required.
• Strong communication with students, teachers and parents.
• Flexible and adaptable to different primary school settings.
• Clear DBS check and references may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in delivering lessons and managing activities.
• Provide one-on-one support to students needing extra help.
• Supervise students during breaks, trips and activities.
• Assist with administrative tasks and classroom organisation.
• Flexible scheduling for ad-hoc, full-time or part-time hours.
