Job Description & Responsibilities

The main responsibilities include working within scope of practice, providing high-standard nursing care, undertaking routine procedures such as measuring blood glucose, recording vital signs, wound care, immunisations, smear tests, and LTC reviews. The Practice Nurse is expected to carry out planned care, work flexibly, be a good team player, work under pressure, and communicate effectively with patients and staff.

Person Specification

Essential Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse with up-to-date certificates
• Primary care experience

Desirable Qualifications:

• Experience working within a GP practice and on EMIS Web (preferable)
