Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled Pest Control Technician to join our team in Slough, Berkshire.

As a Pest Control Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of the company's clients by effectively managing and controlling pests in Slough and in the surrounding areas.

Salary and Benefits

The salary range for this position is £25,000 - £27,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to the competitive salary, they offer a comprehensive benefits package.

Job Duties

1. Conduct thorough inspections of client premises to identify pest infestations and determine the extent of the problem.
2. Develop and implement effective pest control plans, including the selection and application of appropriate pesticides and trapping methods.
3. Perform pest extermination activities using safe and approved techniques to eliminate pests and prevent further infestations.
4. Advise clients on pest prevention measures and provide recommendations to maintain a pest-free environment.
5. Maintain accurate records of pest control activities, including inspection findings, treatment plans, and client communication.
6. Regularly monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of pest control measures, making adjustments as necessary to ensure optimal results.
7. Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements related to pest control.
8. Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with clients to provide exceptional customer service.

Required Qualifications

1. BPCA/RSPH Level 2 Certificate in Pest Management
2. Knowledge of pest identification, behaviour, and specific treatment methods.
3. Ability to handle and apply pesticides safely and responsibly.
4. Familiarity with relevant legislation and industry standards.
5. Experience working with commercial clients in various industries.
6. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
9. Physical fitness and ability to work in various environments.
10. Valid driving licence.
11. No allergies to bees/ wasps or other insects
