Our role

The Medical Writer will play a key role within the Medical team and the broader business unit. Your scientific knowledge and commercial awareness will be crucial in guiding projects and adding value.

You will produce high-quality copy across various media, including websites, emailers, sales aids, tenders, presentations, event collateral, and disease awareness campaigns. You will also collaborate with the Client Services team to manage client relations.

We seek an experienced medical writer with a strong background in healthcare communications, either in an agency or pharmaceutical setting. Knowledge in oncology, diabetes, HIV, infectious diseases, or dermatology would be advantageous.

What you can expect to be doing:

• Managing client brand activity and serving as the primary writer across multiple clients and therapy areas
• Producing and editing copy for various media, considering UX and project flow
• Collaborating with the Client Services team to develop solutions that exceed client expectations and suggest innovative ideas
• Mentoring junior team members and overseeing their development
• Staying updated on industry regulations (e.g., ABPI Code of Practice) and medical approval processes (Zinc and Veeva)

What we’d like to see from you:

• At least 1.5 years of experience as a medical writer in an agency, preferably in creative medical writing
• Experience working with global pharmaceutical companies and creative briefs

Recent graduates with no agency experience are not suitable for this role, but we encourage them to apply for Junior Medical Writer or graduate programs.
