We need an **Expert Content Editor & Writer** who lives at the intersection of:

**Scientific rigor** - Every claim properly researched and cited

**Food passion** - Makes even kale exciting to read about

**Performance editing** - Knows how to boost engagement and SEO

### **What You'll Own:**

- Transform rough drafts into **authoritative, engaging pieces** (1,500-3,000 words)

- Ensure all content meets our **15-point quality checklist** (science, SEO, style)

- Interview PhD nutritionists to **add expert credibility**

**Strategic Leadership:**

- Identify content gaps in our **"Ultimate Food Guides" series**

- Develop **content templates** for different formats (myth vs. recipe vs. trend)

- Mentor junior writers through **detailed developmental edits**

**Quality Control:**

- Final review before publishing (the last line of defense)

### **You're Our Ideal Candidate If You:**

Have 5+ years editing/writing **health/nutrition content at scale**

Can show **3 samples where your edits improved performance** (traffic/engagement)

Know **PubMed searches** like the back of your hand

Speak both **SEO** and **nutrition science** fluently
