Job summary

Konker is hiring an Experienced Mechanical Design Engineer for Data Centres in the Manchester area. You will join a specialist Critical Infrastructure team delivering technically demanding projects. You will manage the full design lifecycle, handle chilled water and high-efficiency cooling schemes, and produce schematics and calculations.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer in building services.
• Data centre project experience is beneficial.
• Strong ability to design for mechanical systems in data environments.

Responsibilities

• Full project lifecycle from tender and concept to detailed design and construction.
• Technical work on chilled water, high-efficiency cooling, schematics and calculations.
• Take ownership of mechanical design and potentially lead projects.
