Zusammenfassung

Recruitment Helpline Ltd is seeking an experienced HGV Mechanic for a full-time, permanent role in Grays. You will service, repair and maintain heavy goods vehicles, diagnose faults and ensure fleet compliance.

The role runs Monday to Friday, 6am–5pm, with flexibility and overtime at enhanced rates; PAYE or self-employed arrangements available. An advantageous Class 1 licence is a plus but not essential.

Qualifikationen

• Proficient with hand and power tools for fabrication and assembly tasks.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in HGV maintenance and repair.
• Good mechanical knowledge and ability to work in a team in a fast-paced workshop.

Aufgaben

• Carry out maintenance, servicing and repair of HGVs.
• Diagnose faults and ensure roadworthiness of vehicles.
• Maintain a clean, safe workshop and adhere to health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with team to improve processes and reduce downtime.
