Job summary

Johnsons UK Services Ltd in South London is seeking an experienced Porter/Driver with a Full Class 2 Driving Licence to join our team. You will perform vehicle checks, ensure on-site readiness, and support relocations for offices and laboratories with a focus on safety and customer service.

Essential skills include tachograph procedures, CPC qualification, and a valid HGV Class 2 licence; a supervisory background is preferred.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 2 driving licence required.
• Digital tachograph knowledge required.
• CPC qualification required.
• Experience in team leadership preferred.
• Knowledge of tachograph procedures required.

Responsibilities

• Vehicle daily checks of allocated HGV Class 2/7.5t/3.5t vehicle.
• Ensure vehicle has relevant equipment for the day’s operation.
• Lift and pack office furniture, soft furnishings, hardware, fine art, etc.
• Take goods in or out of storage.
• Lift and move loads over 25kg.
• Maintain health and safety standards on site.
• Deliver excellent customer care and service.
• Work as part of a team during larger specialist projects (laboratory and executive office relocations).
• Comply with company and health and safety procedures.
