Job summary

HSL is seeking an experienced Upholsterer at Comfort House, Batley. The role offers £13.00 to £21.00 per hour (dependent on experience), with 39 hours per week, Monday–Thursday 6am–4:15pm or 7am–5:15pm and Fridays off.

Two years' upholstery experience, particularly chairs, is essential. We provide training and support to a high level to help you thrive in our fast-growing business.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years' upholstery experience required.
• Experience in a fast-paced upholstery or furniture manufacturing environment.
• Response to training on new products as required.

Responsibilities

We are looking for experienced Upholsterers with a minimum of two years' experience upholstering furniture, particularly chairs, to join our fast-growing business.

General Duties

• Upholster furniture to a high standard.
• Provide good quality work to meet company standards.
• Meet agreed company production targets.
• Comply with Health and Safety procedures as set out in the company's Health and Safety policy.
• Support overtime when the business requires it during busy periods, with sufficient notice provided.
• Ensure good housekeeping is maintained at all times, especially around workstations.

Specific Duties / Experience Required

• A minimum of two years' experience upholstering furniture is essential, with experience upholstering chairs particularly desirable.
• Experience working in a fast-paced upholstery or furniture manufacturing environment.
• Respond positively to training on new products in line with the demands of the business.
