Job summary

KFM Ltd in Surrey is hiring Production Operator / Manufacturing Technician to join a busy, regulated manufacturing environment. You will support day-to-day production, operate process equipment and follow SOPs to meet safety and quality standards.

This role offers training and opportunities to progress in a growing operation. Experience in food/beverage/fermentation or process manufacturing is welcome, pharma experience not required; evening/night/weekend shifts may be available to meet

Qualifications

• At least 3 years' experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Experience in food, beverage, brewing, fermentation, dairy or process manufacturing.
• Strong health and safety awareness.
• Experience completing production records and following documented procedures.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate manufacturing and process equipment safely and effectively.
• Support fermentation, media preparation and other manufacturing processes.
• Prepare, assemble, operate and clean process equipment.
• Carry out production and cleaning activities.
• Complete production documentation and records accurately.
• Follow SOPs and manufacturing instructions.
• Maintain high levels of cleanliness and housekeeping.
• Follow hygiene and contamination control procedures.
• Identify and report quality, safety or operational issues.
• Support equipment troubleshooting and process investigations.
• Work closely with colleagues to achieve production targets and schedules.
• Support continuous improvement and efficient ways of working.
