A well-established engineering firm in Aberdeen is seeking an experienced Fabrication Estimator to prepare detailed cost estimates for various fabrication projects. This role is key in ensuring project delivery and business growth, requiring a strong background in fabrication, problem-solving skills, and proficiency in relevant software. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Formación

• Proven experience in a fabrication estimating role or similar.
• Strong understanding of structural steel and pipework fabrication.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, design specifications, and construction documents.
• Knowledge of material grades, industry standards, and fabrication terminology.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare detailed pricing estimates including full material and labour take-offs.
• Compile complete project costings incorporating subcontractor and vendor pricing.
• Liaise with external vendors to obtain competitive quotations.
• Coordinate with operations and suppliers for fabrication methods.
• Engage with clients for project scope understanding.
• Review technical drawings and documentation for accuracy.
