Qualifications

• Proven experience in a fabrication estimating role or similar.
• Strong understanding of structural steel and pipework fabrication.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, design specifications, and construction documents.
• Knowledge of material grades, industry standards, and fabrication terminology.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed pricing estimates including full material and labour take-offs.
• Compile complete project costings incorporating subcontractor and vendor pricing.
• Liaise with external vendors to obtain competitive quotations.
• Coordinate with operations and suppliers for fabrication methods.
• Engage with clients for project scope understanding.
• Review technical drawings and documentation for accuracy.
