Job summary

Teledyne CML Composites, based in Bromborough, is a fast-growing manufacturer of carbon/glass fibre composite parts and assemblies for leading aircraft programs. This role focuses on training operators, enabling complex laminating with specialist skills, and supporting new work packages (NPI).

You will drive clean room practices, contribute to lean initiatives, and liaise with engineering to improve existing programs while maintaining high quality and safety standards across our advanced

Qualifications

• Experience in composite laminating essential.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines.
• Proactive team player with strong communication skills.
• Able to work within Works Procedure Manuals and Quality Procedure Manual.
• Experience training operators and improving manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist training and develop the skills of current operators.
• Provide specialist tools/knowledge/skills to undertake complex composite lay-ups.
• Provide specialist laminating skills to develop a manufacturing method for new work packages (NPI).
• Guide supervision on clean room best practice and operational improvements.
• Take responsibility for lean initiatives and liaise with Engineering on existing program improvements.
• Drive cleanroom activities to achieve or exceed target layup times and quality metrics.

Based in Bromborough, Teledyne CML Composites is a fast growing manufacturer, supplying carbon/glass fibre composite parts and assemblies to some of the world’s leading aircraft and aero engine producers. Operating across three distinct product groups namely commercial, defence and business jet products, this role is an opportunity to join a team putting the finishing touches to our highly technical products.
