Job summary

Schools’ Choice is seeking an experienced Chef for a seasonal role at High Lodge Café in IP27 0AF, Suffolk. This busy tourist destination café requires reliable, skilled kitchen staff to help run service during our peak season, with weekend and bank holiday work expected.

You will prepare and cook fresh café-style meals, manage ticket orders during busy periods, assist with stock control, and ensure a clean, hygienic kitchen with strict food safety standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Chef in a busy café, restaurant, or hospitality setting.
• Ability to work well under pressure during peak trading times.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.

Experienced Chef Required - Busy Tourist Destination Café
Are you a skilled and reliable chef looking for a seasonal opportunity in a fast-paced café environment? We are seeking an experienced Chef to help run a popular café during our peak tourist season.

Job Details

• Location: High Lodge Café, IP27 0AF, Suffolk
• Length: 3 months
• Hours: 8am - 4pm, 5 days a week, including weekends and bank holidays
• Pay: £16 per hour PAYE or £20.50 Umbrella

About the Role

You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen, preparing and serving quality café-style comfort food while maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness.
