Job summary

Amco in Redditch is seeking a Business Analyst to shape our next generation of technology solutions that drive our business forward. Based at AMCO Park, Redditch, you will engage with stakeholders to understand data, processes, requirements and artefacts and translate them for the technical teams.

You will bring a 4+ year track record in business analysis, strong change-management capabilities, and excellent communication to lead workshops and collaborate with multiple teams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst (4+ years) with a strong understanding of business processes and the role of technology in driving business change.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to break down complex problems and provide actionable solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with requirements gathering, documentation, and process improvement.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
• Understanding of systems integration and software development life cycles (SDLC).
• Ability to work closely with project teams, technical teams and other business units.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and lead workshops.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a matrix of desired and needed capabilities across the business.
• Work with business colleagues to understand and document business processes.
• Capture, analyse and document business and functional requirements.
• Create functional and capability outcomes using user stories.
• Identify and understand data sources.
• Translate business requirements into clear specifications for technical teams.
• Support testing, validation and acceptance activities.
• Research and investigate available technology solutions.
• Collaborate with solution vendors to understand product capabilities.
• Work with IT to share business knowledge and develop solutions.
• Support and guide solution implementation.
• Present findings and analysis to key stakeholders.
• Track and monitor post-launch success criteria.
