Job summary

Amco in Redditch is seeking a Business Analyst to shape our next generation of technology solutions that drive our business forward. Based at AMCO Park, Redditch, you will engage with stakeholders to understand data, processes, requirements and artefacts and translate them for the technical teams.

You will bring a 4+ year track record in business analysis, strong change-management capabilities, and excellent communication to lead workshops and collaborate with multiple teams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst (4+ years) with a strong understanding of business processes and the role of technology in driving business change.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to break down complex problems and provide actionable solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with requirements gathering, documentation, and process improvement.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
• Understanding of systems integration and software development life cycles (SDLC).
• Ability to work closely with project teams, technical teams and other business units.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and lead workshops.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Analyst to help shape and define our next generation of technology solutions that will drive our business forward.

Amco is a £65m turnover Midlands-based, global logistics specialist, providing supply chain solutions that support the critical movement of goods worldwide by road, sea, air, and rail. We serve a wide range of industries and are also specialists in automotive parts logistics, working closely with luxury vehicle manufacturers.

We have many exciting projects in our demand portfolio, and this requires a talented and enthusiastic Business Analyst to engage with business stakeholders and customers to understand data, process, requirements and systems and create the necessary artefacts to guide the business and technical teams towards successful business and technology outcomes.

The Role

About You

• You are driven by using technology to create positive business outcomes and you understand how important technology and systems are to successful business operations
• You’ll have proven experience as a Business Analyst (4 years+), with a strong understanding of business processes and the role of technology in driving business change.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex business problems and provide clear, actionable solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with requirements gathering, documentation, and process improvement.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools
• Understanding of systems integration and software development life cycles (SDLC).
• Ability to work closely with project teams, technical teams, and other business units.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities.
• Ability to lead and manage workshops with stakeholders.
• Up to date knowledge of Change methodology and experience in Change Management
• Experience facilitating process redesign and service improvement workshops using recognised improvement methodologies.
• Experience of testing approaches for new processes and systems.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication to Board level
