Job summary

First Group in Bristol is seeking an experienced Bus Driver to operate local services across Bristol and nearby areas. You will be the face of First Bus, ensuring passenger safety, comfort and punctuality in every journey.

The role offers £17.40 per hour with a £3,000 joining bonus (T&C's apply). It is a full-time, permanent position with planned rotas and guaranteed contracted hours, including mornings, evenings, and weekends shift patterns.

We're looking for experienced Bus Drivers to join our team in Bristol. If you're a qualified PCV driver looking for a permanent, full-time role with guaranteed contracted hours, planned rotas, and the support of a friendly local depot, we'd love to hear from you. You'll operate local bus services across Bristol and the surrounding areas, helping passengers travel safely, comfortably, and on time. Every journey you make plays an important role in connecting people with work, education, appointments, shopping, and leisure, while delivering the high standards of safety and customer service our passengers expect.

What's in it for you?

You'll earn £17.40 per hour, with the opportunity to increase your earnings through overtime when it's available. This is a full time, permanent role with guaranteed contracted hours, and your shifts will be planned in advance so you know what your working week looks like ahead of time. You'll work a rotating shift pattern covering mornings, evenings, and weekends, but everything is scheduled to give you as much predictability as possible.
