As an Asbestos Surveyor, you will carry out Management and Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys across a diverse portfolio of client sites throughout Leeds and the surrounding region.
Working independently and alongside an experienced operations team, the Asbestos Surveyor will ensure all work is completed to the highest standard while maintaining full compliance with HSG264, current legislation, and UKAS procedures.
Carrying out Management and Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys in accordance with HSG264
Conducting bulk asbestos sampling across commercial, industrial, public sector, and residential properties
Producing accurate and compliant asbestos survey reports
Managing your own diary and workload effectively
Liaising professionally with clients, contractors, and internal teams
Maintaining accurate electronic records and survey documentation
Ensuring all work complies with current asbestos legislation and HSE guidance
BOHS P402 qualification (essential)
Previous experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor
Strong understanding of HSG264 and current asbestos legislation
Excellent communication and report-writing skills
Ability to work independently and manage workloads efficiently
Full UK driving licence
