Job summary

Agricultural Recruitment Specialists Ltd is seeking an Experienced Arable Operator to join a Northumberland farming team. The role covers practical hands-on operations across a modern arable enterprise using GPS and precision farming technology.

We offer 40 hours per week, permanent full-time employment, and accommodation where required. Salary is up to £19.00 per hour, dependent on experience, with modern machinery and long-term career prospects.

Qualifications

• Minimum of NVQ Level 2 or Scottish NVQ Level 2 relevant to the role.
• PA1 and PA2 qualifications are essential, with practical spraying experience beneficial.
• Full UK driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractors and modern arable machinery across the farming year.
• Carry out cultivations, drilling, spraying and seasonal field operations.
• Use GPS and precision farming systems to work accurately and efficiently.
• Operate self-propelled crop spraying equipment.
• Carry out routine machinery checks and basic maintenance.
