Agricultural Recruitment Specialists Ltd is seeking an experienced Arable Operator in Spalding to support field operations across primary and secondary cultivations, crop establishment and harvest activities. You will work with GPS/RTK systems and perform routine maintenance to ensure efficient production.

The role requires a proven background with modern tractors, PA1/PA2 and telehandler credentials, plus flexibility for seasonal hours. Competitive salary and benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating modern agricultural tractors and heavy cultivation machinery.
• Competence using GPS guidance and auto steering systems.
• Full UK Driving Licence required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and machinery maintenance knowledge.
• Attention to detail and machine care.
• Work safely with site health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate high horsepower tractors and cultivation equipment.
• Carry out primary and secondary cultivations, crop establishment and harvest-related tasks.
• Use GPS/RTK to maintain field standards and records.
• Perform daily pre-use checks and routine servicing.
• Identify machinery issues and report defects promptly.
• Maintain field records using digital reporting systems.
• Collaborate with farm management and workshop teams to maintain equipment.
• Adhere to health, safety and environmental procedures.
