IBM Consulting is offering an internship that lets you shape experiences that people enjoy using. You’ll work in small cross‑functional teams on real client challenges, supported and mentored by consultants across the UK.

You’ll contribute in various ways depending on the project, client and your interests, gaining exposure to different consulting disciplines and tools while exploring user experience, service design and creative problem solving.

Qualifications

• Students due to graduate in 2027 or 2028.
• Able to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship available).
• Studying a design related degree.
• Able to provide a portfolio showcasing your work, ideas or creative process.
• Curious about people, design and user experiences.
• Creative thinker who can communicate ideas clearly and visually.
• Collaborative, adaptable and open to feedback.
• Interested in problem solving and user centred thinking.

Responsibilities

• Join our consulting team and help shape experiences that people actually enjoy using.
• Work with interns in small cross functional teams on real client challenges.
• Be supported, coached, and mentored by consultants from across the UK business.
• Take ownership of a standalone project, exploring ideas, solving problems and evolving the work.
• Contribute in different ways depending on the challenge, client and interests.
• Gain exposure to teams, consulting disciplines and ways of working across IBM.
• Explore user experience, service design, research, visual communication or creative problem solving.
