Job summary

GES is seeking a dynamic Stand Fitting Planner in the UK to join our team. Reporting to the Senior Planning Manager, you will oversee stand fitting activities and lead the Stand Fitting Co-ordinator for show delivery.

The role combines planning, procurement, and data management using Sage X3 and Clarity MIS, emphasizing strong supplier relationships, revenue alignment, and continuous process improvement. Hybrid working and training are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in exhibition and events industry.
• Experience in stand fitting planning or coordination.
• Strong stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with procurement and supplier management.
• Familiarity with Sage X3 and Clarity MIS is a plus.
• Flexibility to work outside regular hours during busy periods.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support for the Stand Fitting Co-ordinator, carrying out training whenever necessary.
• Work with sub-contracted partners to maintain relationships and procurement status.
• Own the stand fitting element within the Show Build Live planning platform and prepare for the Delivery team.
• Approve POs in Sage X3 and reconcile invoices after shows.
• Use Clarity MIS to gather data and ensure stock availability, coordinate with Inventory team.
• Assist Planning team with holiday/absence cover.
• Provide training support on Clarity and other tools to colleagues.
• Respond to email queries promptly.
• Coordinate correct uniform quantities for delivery teams.
• Collaborate with Features/Show Ready, Commercial, Finance and Service Centre teams.
• Obtain IR35 certification for suppliers as required.
• Collaborate with Transport to create eventQuotes within sustainability/efficiency parameters.
• Ensure revenue data streams match; liaise with stakeholders.
• Drive process changes as Planning team evolves.
