Job summary

RGB Recruitment is seeking a Site Engineer for a permanent role based in Exeter, Devon. You will join an established main contractor's project team on civil engineering and infrastructure schemes, handling setting out, surveying, QA records, and technical delivery.

The ideal candidate has practical site experience, and graduates/trainees with exposure are welcome. A degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent and CSCS card are required, with strong communication and problem-solving skills

Qualifications

• A degree, HNC/HND or equivalent in Civil Engineering or a relevant construction discipline.
• Practical Site Engineering experience
• Main contractor experience would be advantageous
• Appropriate CSCS card

Responsibilities

• Setting out and technical delivery
• Ensuring works comply with drawings and specifications
• Maintaining accurate site, engineering and QA records
• Supporting health, safety, quality and environmental requirements
• Identifying and resolving technical issues
• Liaising with site management, subcontractors and project teams
• Supporting the delivery of works safely, accurately and to programme
