Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Principal Architect for their Randburg office to lead major mixed-use developments from concept to delivery. The role demands visionary design leadership, robust project management, and a deep understanding of urban context and stakeholder engagement.

You will manage design teams, mentor junior staff, engage clients and authorities, ensure compliance with codes and sustainability standards, and drive innovation with BIM (Revit) and AutoCAD.

Qualificações

• Master's degree in Architecture or equivalent professional qualification.
• Minimum of 15 years of extensive architectural practice.
• Professional registration with SAIA or an international body.

Responsabilidades

• Lead architectural design strategy for major mixed-use developments.
• Oversee design teams throughout project lifecycle.
• Engage clients, developers and stakeholders to define visions and requirements.
• Develop innovative concepts for complex urban sites and ensure compliance with codes and sustainability standards.
• Mentor junior and intermediate architects and manage budgets/timelines.
