A leading company is seeking an Executive Officer in Lewes for a temporary role lasting 3 to 6 months. The position involves collaboration with various partners to implement National Resilience Standards, overseeing governance systems, and managing correspondence. Candidates will engage with senior stakeholders and participate in emergency response groups. This full-time role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to work across multiple agencies.
Duration: 3 to 6 months
The role involves collaborating with the SRF Executive Delivery Manager to set objectives aligned with National Resilience Standards for Local Resilience Forums (LRF) and other strategies. Responsibilities include developing implementation plans, working with SRF partners, government departments, and agencies to deliver these plans through strong relationships and collaboration.
Key duties include overseeing the SRF Governance system, ensuring requirements are met and improved through self-assessment and peer reviews, and managing information sharing and documentation standards to facilitate access to information, including on Resilient Direct.
The role also requires handling and managing correspondence, providing briefings to senior stakeholders, conducting horizon scanning to update situational awareness, and participating in multi-agency groups during emergencies. Additionally, organizing training, events, and providing secretariat support for meetings are essential components.
