Job summary

South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust seeks a Chief Transformation and Digital Officer to join the Executive Team. This pivotal role will unite transformation, strategy, performance, data and analytics, digital and AI enablement into a single high‑impact function.

Reporting to the Chief Executive, you will oversee major transformation programmes, champion evidence‑based decision making, and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Senior leadership experience within NHS/public sector or highly regulated environment.
Proven ability to deliver large-scale change and robust digital services.
Ability to influence at Board level and improve organisational performance.
Experience coordinating transformation, strategy, performance and data initiatives.

Responsibilities

Oversee major transformation programmes.
Champion evidence-based decision making.
Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement and innovation.
Ensure clear strategy and strong delivery oversight.
Ensure an effective digital architecture to deliver patient services.
