Job summary

Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership is seeking an exceptional leader for the post of Assistant Chief Officer (Older People and Primary Care Services). This senior role reports to the Depute Chief Officer and is responsible for strategic and operational delivery across Glasgow.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant field.
• Extensive senior leadership experience within NHS, local government, or similar sector.
• Proven track record in strategic planning and service transformation.
• Strong partnership working and policy context understanding for health and social care in Scotland.

Responsibilities

• Provide vision, leadership and operational oversight for Older People and Primary Care services.
• Drive service redesign and integration across a wide portfolio including district nursing, therapy and community services.
• Develop commissioning and workforce strategies and ensure delivery against national standards.
• Represent the HSCP at local, regional and national levels and contribute to policy and capital planning.
