Job summary

CARE ADHD is seeking an experienced ADHD & ASC Assessor to join a growing clinical team delivering ADHD and Autism assessments, including new ASC pathways. You’ll need mental health experience, neurodevelopmental assessment knowledge, and a passion for client-centred care.

You’ll work independently in a remote clinical setting, with digital systems for documentation, and contribute to continuous service improvement. The role reports to the Head of The Clinical Care Hub.

Qualifications

• Must hold Mental Health Nursing qualification and current registration.
• Experience in mental health for at least 3 years.
• Experience with ADHD and/or Autism assessments (ASC).

Responsibilities

• Conduct ADHD and Autism (ASC) assessments using clinical interviews, questionnaires and diagnostic tools.
• Gather and review relevant clinical information to support assessments.
• Produce clear, high-quality assessment reports and recommendations.
• Build rapport and provide a supportive assessment experience.
• Consider co-occurring mental health conditions and other factors impacting presentation.
• Collaborate with clinical team for a seamless client journey.
• Stay up-to-date with ADHD/Autism research and guidelines.
• Use digital systems to manage assessments and records.
• Contribute to development of ASC/ADHD pathways.
• Maintain high standards of governance and confidentiality.

ADOS-2/ADI-R/ACIA training
