Senior Sous Chef | Full Time

The Role |

As a Senior Sous Chef, you will be an inspiring leader, fostering a positive environment for both your team and guests. You will support continuous coaching and development of your team to achieve excellence, while driving restaurant performance and delivering outstanding results.

Responsibilities |

  • Create a caring and supportive environment, celebrating successes and nurturing talent within your team.
  • Ensure an exceptional guest experience by maintaining high standards in dish preparation and team skills.
  • Maintain impeccable food, health, and safety standards; manage financial aspects such as gross profit, stock control, and labour costs.
  • Build a coaching culture, working closely with the Head Chef on recruitment and ongoing development.
  • Act as a proactive problem solver, making quick and effective decisions.

What We Look For |

  • Experience leading a kitchen team as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to have considerate and supportive conversations.
  • Proven ability to uphold food, health, and safety standards.
  • Understanding of financial performance, including gross profit and stock management.
  • Experience managing labour costs and adapting to changing demands.
  • Leadership qualities that inspire and engage teams, fostering inclusion and respect.
