Do you want to play a key role in creating the unforgettable experiences The Ned is known for? As the leader of our Housekeeping department, the Executive Housekeeper ensures that everything from our bedrooms and spa to our public areas, including restaurants and bars, is always sparkling and well presented.

Do you want to join one of the best places to work in hospitality?

What’s the role?

About The Ned:

The Ned and Ned’s Club are a global collection of hotels, clubs, spas, and restaurants for like-minded individuals to meet, work, and enjoy themselves.

The Ned launched in 2017 in the heart of the City, in the former Midland Bank headquarters. The Ned City of London houses Ned’s Club - a private members’ space, gym, and rooftop - alongside a public spa, a full floor of event spaces, ten restaurants and bars, and 250 hotel bedrooms.

Reporting to our Head of Rooms, you will:

  • Coach and develop a team of managers and supervisors to lead, inspire, and retain over 100 staff members.
  • Create and implement the department strategy to achieve goals and build a long-term vision, including policies and procedures.
  • Be accountable for departmental results, leading your team in delivering operational, commercial, experiential, and people performance.
  • Collaborate with other departments, especially Reception and Engineering, to ensure seamless guest experiences.
  • Recruit, train, and foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement among housekeeping staff.

What can The Ned offer you?

  • Salary up to £68,000 per year (dependent on experience), including service charge.
  • Every house membership of Soho House.
  • Enhanced parental leave, sick pay, and pension benefits.
  • Complimentary meals at Neddy’s, including monthly payday breakfast.
  • Learning and development programs to support your career growth.
  • Exclusive rates at The Ned for stays and dining for you, family, and friends.
  • Wellbeing and health benefits, including Wagestream and Benefit Bank discounts.
  • Your birthday off after one year of service and additional holidays after five years.
  • Social events like an annual pool party.
  • Employee assistance programs providing 24/7 support.
  • Reward and recognition initiatives.

What you bring to the role:

  • Proven experience in people management and delivering strong commercial performance.
  • Exceptional leadership, organizational skills, and high standards.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and confidence in decision-making, with excellent communication abilities.
  • Knowledge of systems like Opera PMS (V5), Knowcross, Fourth, or Adaco is advantageous.
  • Active industry engagement and awareness of market trends.

At The Ned, we celebrate diversity and strive to be the best place to work, with a leading diversity, equity, and inclusion program at our core.
